Islamabad, 18 March 2023 (Online): Judicial Complex became battle field on the occasion of Chairman PTI Imran Khan’s appearance in the Tosha Khana case on Saturday.
Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) riot at this occasion, more than 25 motorcycles and vehicles were set on fire by angry protesters
9 Policemen were injured due to stone pelting by PTI protesters who were shifted to hospital for medical assistance.
The police resorted to heavy baton-charge and tear gas to disperse the protesters and keep them away from the complex, in response to which the protesters also attacked the police officers with batons.
On the occasion of Imran Khan’s appearance in the judicial complex, a large number of PTI workers tried to enter the court, on which the police baton-charged the PTI workers, while many workers were also detained by Islamabad police.
During the clash, Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders Shibli Faraz and Murad Saeed were also got injured.
IG Islamabad Akbar Nasir claimed that a police post was also set on fire by PTI workers.
