IHC stops police from arresting Imaan Mazari advocate others

 

 

ISLAMABAD, March 03 (Online): Islamabad High Court (IHC) has stopped police from arresting Imaan  Mazari advocate  daughter of federal minister Shireen Mazari and others.

 

The petition filed by  Emman Mazari advocate against registration of case  came up for hearing before single bench of IHC presided over by Chief Justice (CJ) IHC Athar Minallah Friday.

 

The court remarked Baloch students should be heard and their voice can not be gagged.

 

The court inquired has FIR been registered.

 

Emman Mazari advocate told the court as per her information the FIR has been registered and sealed.

 

The court inquired from SSP “ SSP Sahb what is happening in the jurisdiction of this court. The voice of protesting Baloch students should  be heard. Has FIR been registered.

 

SSP told the court three police personnel have been injured.

 

The court remarked this court will not tolerate all this that some one voice is suppressed in its limits. No bid to suppress voice any one particularly students of Balochistan will not be tolerated. Choking students voice is rebel. How many students have been injured. As to why this court should constitute a commission.

 

The court further remarked “ SSP Sahb you will not arrest any one in this case. A constitution is in place here. The court will not tolerate the bid to  choke critical voices.

 

The court summoned interior secretary, chief commissioner and IG Islamabad. These all three  officers should appear before the court in  person on March 07.

 

The court directed president Islamabad High Court Bar Association to assist it in the matter.

 

The court adjourned the hearing of the case till March 07.
