IHC reserves judgment on Asad Qaisar appeal plea seeking removal of terror clauses

ISLAMABAD, March 30 (Online): Islamabad High Court (IHC) has reserved judgment on the appeal plea filed by former speaker National Assembly (NA) Asad Qaisar seeking removal of terror clauses from his case.

The case came up for hearing before IHC bench comprising Chief Justice (CJ) IHC Amir Farooq and Justice Gul hassan Aurangzeb Thursday.

Sher Afzal Murrawat counsel for Asad Qaisar appeared in the court.

The court inquired during the hearing of the case was this petition filed under section 23.

Court remarked we issue notice. We give you this relief that act of harassing you should be stopped.

The counsel for Asad Qaisar told the court 200 persons were mentioned in FIR but over 400 persons were arrested.

The court inquired under what law the arrested have been made judicial.

They have started discharging people out of arrested persons now.

The court reserved judgment after hearing the arguments.
