IHC bars police from taking adverse action against Sawati till provision of details of cases

ISLAMABAD, March 28 (Online): Islamabad High Court (IHC) has sought details of the cases registred agains PTI leader Azam Swati.

The petiton seeking deails of the cases agaisnt Azam Swati came up for hearing before single bench of IHC led by Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir Tuesday.

Babar Awan counsel for Azam Swati appeared in the court during the hearing of the case. He took the plea cases have been registered but no details are available.

He prayed the court to stop Islamabad polcie from arresting Azam Swati till the provision of record of the cases.

The court while issuing notice has sought the record.
The court directed no adverse action be taken agaisnt Azam Swati till the provisoin of details of cases against him.

The hearing of the case was adjourned till March 31.
