I have received directives to withdraw the contempt of court petition, Latif Khosa

Islamabad January 15 (Online): PTI leader Latif Khosa said that I have received directives to withdraw the contempt of court petition against Election Commission (EC).

Democracy has been destroyed by court decision and we would like to go to Public court for its survival.
We went to court for level playing and the field was taken away from us.

While talking to media outside Supreme Court, Latif Khosa said that he came to the court in the context of the decision of December 2023.

Supreme Court said that everyone should be given a level playing field but PTI was dispersed. The whole party is being banned from Parliament.

We have not been allowed to hold rallies till today. We were ridiculed for the bat sign. Our election sign was taken away when the election came.

He said that instead of equal opportunities in the election, PTI lawyers and leaders were picked.

PTI leaders were restrained from submitting their nomination papers.

Latif Khosa said that lawyers were sent by PTI but they were tortured. PTI leaders were arrested under MPO.

He said that my son has been arrested. Police say that nothing has happened. Salute to Excellency of Chief Justice, he says that I do not watch TV.

PTI leader said that due to a court order, our reserved seats have been blown up. PPP also has an electoral alliance with PPP Parliamentarians.

Latif Khosa told that Chairman of PTI Nazriati Party had asked us for 7 seats and an agreement was made to give 7 seats to PTI Nazriati. Tickets were signed.

After the agreement, Chairman of PTI Nazriati was taken away and Chairman of PTI Nazriati was brought on TV and stated that these signatures are fake.

He also said that we are going to court of public. We do not trust election commission.

PTI leader further said that similar intra-party election was conducted in the PPP as well. No candidate in my name and the name of Bilawal Bhutto in the PPP stood.
He said that Akbar S. Babar cannot stand even as a lowly worker of PTI.
