LAHORE, Sep 21 (Online): Lahore High Court (LHC) on the petition seeking implementation on court’s order for not arresting Pervaiz Elahi has sought arguments from the respondents on this point if the single bench can hear this case or otherwise.
Justice Mirza Waqas Rauf of LHC heard the petition Thursday.
NAB filed reply in the court during the hearing of the case.
The court directed to provide copy of NAB reply to counsel of the applicant.
The court inquired when NAB is party in this case then how can single bench hear this case. The lawyers of the respondents should give arguments on this point in next hearing.
The court adjourned the proceedings of the case till October 04.
Pervaiz Elahi had taken plea in the petition single bench had ordered not to arrest him but despite it he was arrested. Therefore the court should order to implement the decision.
