LAHORE, APRIL 25 (Online): Hearing of petition against imposition of section 144 in different cities during by polls has been adjourned till May 2 in Lahore High Court (LHC).
Justice Shahid Bilal Hussain of LHC took up for hearing the petition filed by a citizen against imposition of section 144 in different cities during by polls.
The petitioner took the plea Punjab government slapped section 144 in different cities during the by polls.
The petitioner requested the court to declare the process of imposition of section 144 in different cities illegal. The counsel for the petitioner said there is new petition that case be approved for two members bench. Justice Shahid Bilal Hassan remarked I give the time in next week. Come here and give arguments. The court while summoning the lawyers for arguments adjourned the hearing of the case till May 2.
