Hearing of money laundering case against PM, Hamza Shahbaz adjourned

LAHORE, May 03 (Online): The Accountability Court (AC) has adjourned the hearing of money laundering case against Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif, his son Hamza Shehbaz and others till May 10.

The money laundering case came up for hearing before AC Lahore led by Judge Qamar ul Zaman Wednesday.

Anwar Hussain pleader appeared in the court in place of PM Shehbaz Sharif.

The counsel for Hamza Shahbaz while submitting exemption plea took the plea Hamza Shahbaz cannot appear due to back pain. Doctor has advised him to take rest.

He requested the court to accept exemption plea of Hamza Shahbaz.

The court accepted exemption plea for one day in respect of Hamza Shahbaz.

The court while ordering to submit supplementary report in respect of the co-accused Suleman Shahbaz and Haroon Yousuf adjourned the hearing of the case till May 10.

The court has already granted permanent exemption to PM Shehbaz Sharif.
As many as 16 accused including PM Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz have been nominated in this case.
