ISLAMABAD, Dec 06 (Online): Accountability Court (AC) has adjourned h till December 21 hearing of reference on alleged irregularities in the contracts of advertisements against former Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gillani.
The reference came up for hearing before AC led by Judge Muhammad Bashir here Monday. Javed Iqbal counsel for Yusuf Raza Gillani and NAB prosecutor appeared in the court.
Reply on the acquittal pleas of the accused persons could not be filed.
The court directed NAB to file reply. The defence counsel told the court no loss was caused to national kitty in this case. This is such a case wherein no transaction has been made. The court adjourned the hearing of the case till December 21.
