ISLAMABAD, May 08 (Online): The court has adjourned the hearing of female judge threatening case against Imran Khan till today, May 09.
The case came up for hearing before district and sessions court Islamabad led by judge Tahir Abbas Monday.
Naeem Panjutha counsel for Imran Khan appeared in the court.
Naeem Panjutha requested the court the hearing be adjourned till Friday without proceedings. Suleman Safdar counsel for Imran Khan will appear in Lahore High Court (LHC) today. Suleman Safdar has given arguments on the appeal filed in female judge threatening case.
The court remarked Suleman Safdar is busy then why the power of attorney has been filed in every case. You have filed appeal. If you don’t offer arguments then I will dismiss the appeal.
The counsel for Imran Khan said not a month has passed since filing of appeal in female judge threatening case. Appeal has been filed by Imran Khan. We have no objection over its adjournment.
The court while summoning arguments adjourned the hearing of case till today, May 09.
