ISLAMABAD Sep 10 (Online): Details of officers, politicians and dealers involved in hundi business and Iranian oil smuggling have been provided to Prime Minister House.
Sources said that this report has been submitted by the government agency, according to the report, 722 currency dealers in Pakistan are involved in hundi business.
The highest number of hawala hundi dealers are 205 in Punjab, 183 dealers in KP and 176 dealers in Sindh doing hundi business, 104 dealers in Baluchistan and 37 dealers in Azad Kashmir involved in hundi, 17 dealers doing hundi business in Federal Capital Islamabad.
According to the report, more than 2 billion 81 million liters of oil is smuggled from Iran to Pakistan annually.
The earning from Iranian oil smuggling are used by terrorists, 76 dealers are involved in oil smuggling in the areas adjacent to the border.
995 pumps sell Iranian oil across the country, 90 government officials are involved in Iranian oil smuggling, 29 politicians are also involved in Iranian oil business, PSO vehicles are also involved in the transportation of Iranian oil from Iran.
Oil comes to Pakistan smuggled in Iranian vehicles, Iranian oil smuggling vehicles are called Zam Yad.
