Haqeeqi Azadi March’ a continuity of Pakistan’s freedom movement

LAHORE – November 10 (ONLINE) Former Federal Minister and PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry said Thursday his party’s “Haqeeqi Azaadi March” was a continuity of Pakistan’s freedom movement back in the 40’s.

Talking to reporters outside Imran Khan’s residence in Zaman Park, the PTI leader said his party’s biggest asset was the ‘middle class’. He said the PTI didn’t want public to challenge state institutions.

Talking about his party’s long march, Fawad Chaudhry said convoys from all over Pakistan would reach Rawalpindi in next few days to ‘welcome Imran Khan’. He said the party chief would address long march’s participants via video link “unless he is fit completely”.

He revealed that the leadership would announce next course of action upon Imran’s arrival in Pindi.
Making a comparison of his party’s long march with Pakistan’s freedom movement, Fawad said PTI’s struggle was “continuity of Freedom movement”. “The Freedom Movement was lead by Quaid-e-Azam while this time around Imran Khan is leading the ‘Haqeeqi Azadi March,” he maintained.
