Hamza Shahbaz should have resigned at the time of announcement of CM election result: Fawad Chaudhry

ISLAMABAD, JULY 26 (ONLINE): PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry has said Hamza Shahbaz should have resigned when the result of the Chief Minister (CM) election was announced.
“ as to why he remained stuck to his office”, he said this while talking to media men outside Supreme Court (SC) here Tuesday.

He went on to say if they continued to hatch the conspiracies then we will never be able to go ahead. They should bow their head before the decision of the people and not mount pressure on SC.

Citing to C M Punjab election result he said Pervez Elahi bagged 186 votes and Hamza Shahbaz polled 179 votes. Hoe ironical it is that one who bagged 179 votes was seated on the chair of CM and who got 186 votes was seated on opposition benches.

He underlined that Imran Khan who was elected Prime Minister (PM) of 220 million people was sent packing. They distributed sweet then and why the thought of boycotting did not come into their mind at that time.

He alleged conspiracies are being hatched in collusion with a media group. Why conspiracy was hatched against Imran Khan. Those who played their role in it are now ashamed of it.

We had appreciated Maryam Nawaz statement of accepting defeat in by polls at Punjab, he said adding PML-N should have changed its leadership following its failure in by polls.

The democracy runs where those defeated in the polls accept their defeat, he underscored. If party continues to hatch conspiracies all the time then we will not be able to go ahead.

Senior judges are running the cases so far all over the world. When you don’t accept people decision then crisis comes. Bow your head before the decision of the people and don’t shift political burden to SC.

The judge can say tomorrow that I boycott. Constituting full bench or otherwise is the power of judges, he added.
