ISLAMABAD – March 29 (ONLINE) Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Vice President Sherry Rehman said Tuesday government’s incompetency had increased to such levels that country was about to face a gas shortage even in summers.
“Global company has once again refused to provide LNG Cargo. This will lead to a massive gas shortage in summers,” Sherry wrote in her twitter statement on Tuesday.
“They [government] could not ensure sufficient provision of gas despite purchasing history’s most costly gas,” She further added.
“LNG scandal will top government’s corruption scams,” Sherry Rehman said.
In a subsequent tweet, the PPP leader said current government was adding to masses’ woes even in its ‘last moments’. “PTI government will not last anymore but turmoil created by them will haunt masses for long,” she said.
“Due to their [govt’s] incompetency, gas shortage has become a permanent problem now. Neither can they provide sufficient gas in winters, nor in summers,” the PPP Senator added.
