Islamabad â December 12 (Online): Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Maryum Aurangzeb on Sunday said that PTI-led government was planning to put PML-N president Shahbaz Sharif behind the bars for third time in three and a half year.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Maryum said that âNAB-Niaziâ nexus was unable to prove corruption of a single penny against the top leadership of her party. âFIA has been used as a tool after NAB, but how come the investigations are legitimate if Prime Minister is monitoring himselfâ she asked.
Maryum Aurangzeb said that mafias were working freely under surveillance of Prime Minister himself. She said that these âshowsâ in name of corruption must stop now.
PML-N spokesperson said that government was unaware of the misery of laymen. âToday dollarâs rate has reached a historic 180 against rupee. People are unable to pay their gas, electricity bills and government is busy looting treasury through sugar mafiasâ she alleged.
Maryum said that government had no intensions to relieve masses since it thinks next general elections will take place through Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs). âThey are afraid if Shahbaz Sharif remains free he will continue to tell people about their lootâ she concluded.
