Islamabad, March 25, 2023 (Online) Federal government has decided to give a full response to President Arif Alvi’s letter regarding the postponement of general elections in Punjab as a violation of the constitution.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed Federal Minister for Law to compile a record of various constitutional and legal violations committed by the president in the past and report to him.
According to the sources, Shahbaz Sharif had a telephonic contact with PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif regarding the letter of President Arif Alvi to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and he said that the truth of Imran Niazi and his followers should be exposed before the people.
Tarar and other leaders also met with Shehbaz Sharif. The Law Minister was directed by the PM to provide a record of various constitutional and legal violations. The government spokesperson and relevant ministers will give their full response in this regard.
