LAHORE, Jan 22 (Online): Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has signed Punjab Immovable Public Property Ordinance 2022 to curb permanent and temporary encroachments of province.
As per ordinance, the officer concerned will be bound to take a decision against the trespasser within the stipulated time and the powers of civil judges have also been delegated to the Divisional Commissioners.
Violators will be given a two-day notice twice and then action will be taken in case of non-appearance before the concerned officer within 14 days.
