Former Opposition leader Raja Riaz joins PML-N

London, Sep 16 (Online): Former Opposition leader Raja Riaz has joined Muslim League-N during a meeting with PML-N leader Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif in London.

Senator Ishaq Dar, Mian Nasir Janjua, Attaiullah Tarar, Malik Ahmad Khan, Azam Nazir Tarar and Amjad Parvez were also present on this occasion.

Raja Riaz Ahmed joined the Muslim League-N expressing full confidence in the leadership of Nawaz Sharif. Raja Riaz said, I thank Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif for trusting me.

After the meeting, PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif while talking to the media said that Raja Riaz has officially joined PML-N. Raja Riaz has been welcomed to PML-N.

Raja Riaz’s involvement will strengthen the party. Answering a question, Shahbaz Sharif said that the Supreme Court’s decision regarding NAB amendments is regrettable. A dictator’s law has been restored, not changed.

Chairman PTI had changed the NAB law twice through ordinances. NAB law was changed to give NRO to Chairman PTI to his followers. The law passed by Parliament which has not come into existence yet.

He said that there is no doubt that there is inflation, the poor man is in trouble. Shahbaz Sharif said that Nawaz Sharif is visiting Pakistan on October 21.

Nawaz Sharif did not resort to NAB amendments in his cases, he said that the value of rupee has improved, otherwise the prices of petroleum products would have increased.
