Federal, Punjab governments file details of cases against Imran Khan in LHC

LAHORE, May 12 (Online): Federal and Punjab governments have filed details of the cases against Imran Khan in Lahore High Court (LHC).

Government has submitted the report containing the details of the cases registered till May 04 against Imran Khan.

As per report 29 cases have been registered against Imran Khan in Islamabad and 6 cases in Punjab. JIT is investigating into two cases registered in Lahore against PTI chairman.

It is pertinent to mention here that LHC on the petitions seeking suspension of proceedings in respect of 121 cases against Imran Khan had sought details of the cases from the government.

A five members bench of LHC presided over by Justice Ali Baqar Najafi heard the petitions.

The judge remarked if Imran Khan is innocent then police should discharge him from cases. If he is at fault then government should challan him.
