Islamabad – December 12 (Online): The Federal Cabinet will meet Tuesday to discuss a fifteen point agenda, including country’s overall economic and political situation.
A fifteen point agenda has been circulated to cabinet members.
Sources told that interior ministry’s officials will brief cabinet members over a visa policy for international Non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
Committee formed to introduce reforms in Sugar sector will also present its report before the federal cabinet. A summary by interior ministry will also be presented before the cabinet to review visa policy for Afghanistan.
According to sources, federal cabinet is expected to prolong time limit for replacement of old currency notes worth 10, 50, 100 and 1000 rupees.
Federal Cabinet will also consider agreement between Pakistan and Tajikistan to establish new air-route. Cabinet will also approve agreement between Pakistan and Kazakhstan’s SCAT Airline.
A report will be presented before the federal cabinet on its decision related to ministry of industries and productions. Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) will also present its yearly report before the cabinet, sources added.
