Federal cabinet meets today

ISLAMABAD, Jan 10 (Online): Federal cabinet meets today (Tuesday) under the Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan in PM House to review political and economic situation of the country besides considering 17-point agenda.

Cabinet will be briefed on the prevailing situation of inflation in the country and the interior minister Sheikh Rashid will brief the participants on Murree tragedy in details.

17-point agenda of the meeting has been issued.
The cabinet will approve appointment of chairman and members in Intellectual Property Rights Board, credit guarantee for trust funds under Islamabad Capital Territory act-2020, housing project for overseas Pakistanis under Roshan Pakistan Project in zone-1v, CDA annual budget for the financial year 2020-2021, adjustment in power tariff for 4th quarterly of the fiscal year 2020-21, one time exemption in duty taxes, in the registration of non customs vehicles in FATA and PATA, draft bill of interfaith harmony , appointment of member of minority commission from Christian community, science, technology and innovation policy for 2021, appointment of chairman Board of Directors of PTDC and appointment of expert in anti narcotics department.

The cabinet will extend service of CEO, Engineering Development Board.
Cabinet will endorse Dec 31 decisions of Cabinet privatization committee and decisions of two previous meetings of ECC.
