Federal Cabinet directs govt departments to fulfill vacant vacancies

Islamabad – December 8 (Online): The Federal cabinet has directed Petroleum Division to fill up four important posts soon.

According to sources, Federal Cabinet in its meeting on Tuesday also directed to fill the vacancy of Managing Director (MD) of Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGDCL) within 3 months.

MD OGDCL’s post has been vacant since October 20. Former Managing Director was fired upon his ‘inefficient performance’.
The Cabinet also directed Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation to fill the post of its MD within a month. The former in office was sacked for committing ‘conflict of interests’.

The federal cabinet, in its meeting directed to fill the post of head of Pakistan LNG within a month. The post has been vacant since August 23. According to sources, Federal Cabinet was told that process for appointment has been started.

Cabinet also directed to fill the post of MD of Pakistan Petroleum Limited within a month. The Cabinet was informed in the briefing that the post of MDPPL has been vacant since March 16, 2018. The post of MDPPL is vacant due to lack of suitable candidates. The process for appointment of MD has been started.
