Farooq Sattar, others acquitted in provocative speeches case

KARACHI, Nov 02 (Online): Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Karachi has acquitted MQM 6 leaders including Farooq Sattar in provocative speeches case.

3 cases of provocative speeches against MQM leaders came up for hearing before ATC Karachi Tuesday.

The court acquitted 6 accused persons including Farooq Sattar in provocative speech cases. Wasim Akhtar, Khawaja Izhar ul Hassan, Suleman Mujahid Baloch were acquitted in two cases while Rauf Siddiqui and Qamar Mansoor were acquitted in one case.

As per police the cases against the accused were registered in police station Malir City, Sachal and Brigade in 2016.Thery were charged with facilitating the MQM founder Altaf Hussain in his provocative speech. Cases were registered against them in different police stations.
