Islambad – January 25 (Online): Ex-CJP Saqib Nisar has been stopped from appearing before Standing Committee.
Speaker National Assembly wrote a letter to Chairman Standing Committee for Information Mian Javed Latif in this regard Tuesday.
Asad Qaiser took stand in the letter that issue of giving decision against Sharif Family is already in pending hearing in the court. If the matter is excluded from the agenda, the committee meeting can be called.
Chairman Standing Committee for Information should not bring the issue into debate which is already pending before the Court.
Speaker NA Asad Qaisar had opposed calling the former CJP Saqib Nisar in the committee meeting following the opposition from Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhary
