ISLAMABAD, March 31 (Online): National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has issued the inquiry report related to electricity breakdown in the country.
According to report, the reason for the breakdown was the transmission of electricity without looking at the network situation.
Power transmission protection arrangements were not made at grid stations.
Splitting system was inactive.
The Guddu was not generating 747 megawatt electricity.
Port Qasim electric power company failed to balance over frequency.
K-electric failed to stop tripping from Bin Qasim power plant.
NEPRA formed 6 member inquiry committee on that inquiry committee sent this report to Chairman NEPRA.
By the inquiry report, NDC officials held responsible for electricity breakdown.
