ISLAMABAD, Feb 24 (Online): Election Commission (EC) has prepared schedule for presidential election. According to schedule March 9 has been proposed for holding election. As per EC sources schedule for presidential election will soon be announced.
Under article 11 of the constitution it is imperative to hold presidential election within 30 days after general election.
The schedule for presidential election will be issued after summoning National Assembly session. Electoral college is must before issuance of schedule.
