KARACHI, Jan 09 (Online): Election Tribunal (ET) has rejected second appeal against the acceptance of nomination papers of PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif .
ET of Sindh High Court (SHC) took up for hearing appeal plea against the acceptance of nomination papers of Shehbaz Sharif from NA-242.
The petitioner Hussain Chohan took the plea Shehbaz Sharif has not attached correct affidavit with the documents related to NA-242,
The petitioner said Shehbaz Sharif has given false statement in the affidavit regarding his business. The decision of Returning Officer (RO ) be nullified and nomination papers of Shehbaz Sharif be rejected.
The ET rejected the plea of the petitioner after hearing the arguments. However written decision will be issued later.
It is pertinent to mention her ET had rejected appeal against the acceptance of nomination papers of Shehbaz Sharif a day before from NA-242 Karachi.
MQM Pakistan leader Mustafa Kamal is too candidate from this constituency.
