Islamabad November 04 (Online): Special Assistant on Poverty Alleviation Dr. Sania Nishtar has announced to launch Ehsaas Rashan program to provide subsidy to deserving people.
Addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Thursday, she said on Monday a portal will be opened for deserving people for registration.
Dr. Sania Nishtar said registered people will be ableto get subsidies on oil/ghee, pulses and flour.
She said people with an income lower than thirty one thousands rupees per month will be entitled to avail the subsidy.
The Special Assistant said thirty five percent budget will be provided by federal government whereas sixty five percent will be the share of provincial governments.
She said government will add more people at the later stage on the availability of fiscal space.
