ISLAMABAD, JUNE 25 (ONLINE): The diffeerences among the allied parties have plunged the three provinces into constitutional crisis since the last theree months amid the reports no conseusns has been forged on the appointment of governnors in KP, Sindh and Balochistan so far.
Sorces said talks are underway between the allied parteis of coaliation governemnt in connection with ieduction of governors in three provinces.
Speakers of provincial assemblies of Sindh, KP and Balochistan are working as acting governors in these three provinces at present.
The period of the advice sent to the President Arif Alvi for appointment of govenors has expired so far. Cabinet division has not issued notificaiton of the appoitnemnt of any governor.
Sources told Online differences persist between PML-N, PPP and JUI-F over the induction of goveernor in KP. ANP has already witthdrawn over issue of appointment of governor.
PML-N wants to appoint Iqbal Zafar Jhagra as governor KP while PPP and JUI-F want their canddates be brought as governor in the provicne.
Nasreen Jalil was nominated as governor in Sindh but MQM will get this slot till all the promises made between PPP and MQM are delivered.
Dispute has erupted between Balochistan Awami Party and BNP Mengal over the governorship of the province.
Sources said the three provinces stand deprived of governors and the talks are underway among the coalition partners through backdoor contacts.
However component parteis of PDM have fialed to reach any conclusion so far on this matter.
