ISLAMABAD: Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Islamabad Kainat Azhar Khan on Saturday visited different traffic duty points across the federal capital, directing the field officers to take strict legal action against traffic violators while ensuring uninterrupted traffic flow.
An ITP official told APP that during the visit, the CTO met police officers deployed at various points and reviewed traffic management and enforcement measures, said a press release here.
Kainat directed the officers to maintain a visible and effective presence on roads and take firm legal action against motorists found violating traffic laws.
She stressed that enforcement should be carried out alongside effective traffic management so that action against violators did not affect the smooth movement of vehicles.
The CTO Kainat also instructed personnel to remain alert at their duty points, closely monitor traffic conditions and take timely measures wherever congestion or traffic violations were observed.
She said effective enforcement and disciplined traffic management were essential for safer roads and smooth travel across Islamabad.
