LAHORE, Sep 23 (Online): Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Punjab has arrested 13 terrorists during intelligence based operations in different cities of Province.
According to CTD spokesperson operations were conducted in Lahore, Attock, Bahawalnagar, Jhelum, Bahawalpur, Sheikhupura and Rawalpindi.
5 terrorists were arrested from Attock and 3 from Lahore.
According to spokesperson, explosive material, 29 detonators, prima card, mobile phones, arms, bullets and cash amount were recovered from the possession of terrorists.
The arrested terrorists have been identified as Khurshid, Rashid, Irfan, Luqman, Wahid, Rizwan, Amir and Wajid.
Spokesperson said the terrorists were planning to attack state offices and important installations. Cases have been registered against them and investigation is underway.
