Court reserves judgment on petitions seeking presentation of chairman PTI, Sheikh Rashid in court

ISLAMABAD, SEP 20 (ONLINE): Local court of Islamabad has reserved judgment on the petitions seeking presentation of PTI chairman and Sheikh Rashid in the court in Long March, vandalism case.

The case came up for hearing before Additional Sessions Judge Sohaib Bilal for hearing Wednesday.

PTI Counsel Naeem Panjotha filed the petitions that chairman PTI and Sheikh Rashid be presented in the court.
He took the plea that PTI chairman has been arrested and Sheikh Rashid has been abducted. Order be issued to produce both the accused in the court.

If report is sought from superintendent Attock jail then a pretext of security concerns will come from his side.

It is requested to present Chairman PTI and Sheikh Rashid in the court as per law. No whereabouts are known about Sadaqat Ali Abbasi.

The court reserved judgment on the petitions regarding production of chairman PTI and Sheikh Rashid in the court.

Asad Umar too appeared in the court along with his lawyers and he left the court after marking his attendance.
Exemption from attendance pleas was filed by Shireen Mazari.
