LAHORE, May 11 (Online): Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) has rejected interim bail of PTI president Chaudhry Pervez Elahi.
Former Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Chaudhry Pervez Elahi had obtained bail in the case registered during police operation in his home.
Exemption from attendance for one day (today) was filed in the court on behalf of Chaudhry Pervez Elahi.
The counsel for Pervez Elahi took the plea during the hearing of the case Chaudhry Pervez Elahi cannot appear in the court on medical grounds.
The court while turning down exemption plea rejected interim bail due to non appearance of Pervez Elahi in the court.
It is pertinent to mention here case was registered against Chaudhry Pervez Elahi under anti terrorism clauses.
