ISLAMABAD, May 30 (Online): Islamabad Court has postponed the indictment proceedings in respect of Azam Swati in controversial tweet case.
The controversial tweet case against Azam Swati came before Special Judge Central Islamabad for hearing Tuesday.
The court postponed the indictment proceedings against Azam Swati due to his non presence.
During the hearing of the case FIA prosecutor requested the court to issue non bailable arrest warrants of Azam Swati.
The investigation officer said the proceedings for serving warrants has been done but Azam Swati was not at home for compliance of warrants.
The counsel for Azam Swati told the court ” I could not make any contact with Azam Swati. The investigation officer went where for compliance of warrants. How did he get comply the warrants.
Later the special judge summoned the person who got complied the warrants.
