ISLAMABAD, March 01 (Online): Contempt of court plea has been filed against Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Maryam Nawaz in Supreme Court (SC).
Contempt of court plea has been filed by Raja Basharat.
The petitioner has taken plea that Maryam Nawaz made her personal publicity through advertisements. The court had banned personal advertisement out of government finances on September 22, 2022.
Personality publicity by Maryam Nawaz is violation of court’s decision. Contempt of court proceedings be initiated against Maryam Nawaz and she be declared guilty of committing contempt of court.
