ISLAMABAD, JUNE 23 (ONLINE): Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued written decision about grant of permission to perform Hajj those who participated in Hajj balloting.
Justice Babar Sattar issued a written order containing 2 pages.
It has been said in the decision the citizen resorted to court against removing his name from list despite the fact that his name was included in Hajj balloting. The competent officer of ministry of religious affairs recorded his statement before the court on allowing the citizens to perform Hajj.
According to authorized officer the citizens will be allowed to proceed to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj under government quota after necessary proceedings.
The court said in written order that the objections from petitioners have been addressed after the reply from ministry of religious affairs.
The lawyers Sabri Shafqat Sindh and Sadiq Khan contested the case of Dr G A Ansari and other Hajj affectees.
