Cipher case: Court approves4 days physical remand of Shah Mehmood Qureshi

ISLAMABAD, Aug 21 (Online): The special court has approved 4 days physical remand of Shah Mehmood Qureshi, vice chairman of PTI in cipher case under official secret act.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi was presented by FIA in the court set up under official secret act in Islamabad on Monday. He is arrested in alleged misplaced cipher case.
The FIA requested for 13 days physical remand.

The subordinate court of Islamabad had approved physical remand of Shah Mehmood Qureshi a day before and handed him over to FIA.

The FIA presented him in the court again on completion of his remand.

Judge Abual Hasnat Zulqarnain held in camera hearing of the case.

FIA requested the court to grant physical remand of Shah Mehmood Qureshi for further 13 days.

The court reserved the judgment.

Later announcing the judgment the court approved physical remand of 4 days.

FIA had arrested Shah Mehmood Qureshi from Islamabad on August 19 in cipher case and he was shifted to FIA headquarters after his arrest.
