ISLAMABAD, Feb 27 (Online): Islamabad High Court (IHC) has summoned secretary cabinet along with fact finding report in the case against alleged kidnapping of Shireen Mazari in 2022.The case came up for hearing before single bench of IHC led by justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani Tuesday. The court had sought report from government till 11 a.m.
During the hearing of the case Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani while moving to Additional Attorney General (AAG) Munawar Iqbal Duggal remarked give report till 11 a.m otherwise action will be taken against IG and others.
Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani remarked secretary cabinet should appear in the court along with fact finding report.
Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani inquired from AAG where is report.
Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani remarked first fact finding will have been carried out and not the lady was kidnapped or what happened. No one has seen report that fact finding commission did what. The report was not brought in the court and was placed directly before the cabinet. Call secretary cabinet to come up with report on Wednesday.
Prime minister has also been summoned on Wednesday. Secretary cabinet should also come Wednesday.
We will give decision in the presence of Prime Minister by seeing the report here. Work is not done by federal cabinet and we will get the work done here. Fact finding report has not been presented in the court despite repeated court’s orders.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case till Wednesday.
