Caretaker federal cabinet to meet today on 14-point agenda

ISLAMABAD Oct 29 (Online): The meeting of the caretaker federal cabinet will be held today (Monday).

The meeting will be held under the chairmanship of caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar at the Prime Minister House, in which the 14-point agenda will be considered.

The Hajj Policy 2024 will be presented for approval in the cabinet meeting.

The Hajj and Umrah Regulation Bill 2023 will be presented to the Cabinet for approval.

Issues related to providing international routes to Fly Jinnah will be reviewed.

Approving repatriation orders for illegal aliens, extension of the Commission of Inquiry on Missing Persons is on the agenda.

Along with the approval of the establishment of FIA and anti-human trafficking police stations and inclusion in the rolls, the agreement regarding the increase in Ramazan trade, exports and imports of Pakistan-Tajikistan will also be approved.

The agenda includes approving the relaxation of PPRA (Public Procurement Regulatory Authority) rules related to LNG and LPG procurement and cargo, ratifying the decisions of the Cabinet Committee on Legislation dated 6, 26 and 27 October.

The federal cabinet will review the country’s overall economic, law and order and political situation.
