ISLAMABAD, Jul 07 (APP):The team of Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) along with police and other officials carried out a raid in Kot Chutta, Dera Ghazi Khan to arrest a woman over fraudulent activities.
According to the BISP officials, the woman named Saira Batool was found to be involved in committing fraud through the BISP programs.
The official team has recovered 107 Computerized National Identity Cards of women, 45 zong sims, three covid cards and other devices during the raid.
The FIR has been registered against the woman on the application of Assistant Director, BISP, Tehsil Dera Ghazi Khan, Nasrullah Malghani to the SHO of police station, Kot Chutta.
Assistant Director BISP urged the police officials to investigate the matter and take strict action against those involved in this activity.
He said that miscreants, swindlers and scammers who defraud innocent people in the name of BISP will be dealt with strictly.
