KARACHI (ONLINE) jan 11 – Today during the inaugural ceremony of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Expressway, Chairman of Pakistan People’s Party Bilwal Bhutto Zardari said that He is proud to have served Karachi for 3 Generations.
In the remembrance of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Muhtarma Benazir Bhutto, he said that despite the political challenges PPP takes a keen interest in the development of Karachi. Continuing his speech, he said that it is a very good gesture that Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Expressway is completed with a public-private partnership.
He said that where other provinces and the Federal Government have failed in continuing the Public-private partnership, PPP has played a role in the development of Sindh since 2010.
Furthermore, about the expressway, he said that features dedicated interchanges, providing seamless access to key residential and commercial areas along the route. The first segment will feature a ramp to facilitate immediate traffic flow and will be complemented by a connecting flyover from Korangi, which is expected to be completed within two months.
