ISLAMABAD, Aug 30 (Online): Former Prime Minister (PM) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has termed the audio leaks as evidence on the conspiracy for destabilizing national economy.
“Imran Khan and all conspirators will have to render account. This conspiracy starts from Imran Khan and reaches to finance minister KP. He was conspiring to sabotage the hard work continuing since last four months. The motive behind letter was that the IMF program could not be approved”, he said this while talking to media men here Tuesday.
He went on to say it is matter of regret that man like Shaukat Tareen was also involved in it to whom Pakistan gave a lot. The things will have to be put before the people that what he did during his stint in power.
Today IMF has approved 7th and 8th review. IMF program with Pakistan has been revived.
He claimed Imran Khan team including Shaukat Tareen ruined national economy for four years. Miftah Ismail has put the economy on track again under the leadership of Prime Minister.
When the letter has to be written and how it has to be written and when it has to be sent and what will be its repercussions for the county, he said adding the only motive behind this letter was that the IMF program could not be approved.
It was heinous conspiracy to shift more burden to the people by annihilating the national economy, he underlined.
The letter from finance minister KP was strange and sorrowful incident of history of Pakistan, he indicated. The finance minister said for not providing surplus due to floods. While flood has hit the entire country.
He held Shaukat Tareen has remained finance minister several times.
