Attack on Jinnah house, Askari tower case: Interim bail of sisters of PTI chairman, Asad Umar extended

LAHORE , OCT 31 (Online): Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Lahore has extended interim bail of Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan sisters of chairman PTI and PTI leader Asad Umar till November 22 in cases related to attack on Jinnah House and Askari tower and torching PML-N office on May 9.

The court ordered all the accused persons to join investigation till next hearing.

Judge Arshad Javed of ATC Lahore took up the case for hearing Tuesday.
Asad Umar, Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan appeared in the court on expiry of interim bail period and they signed rolls.

The investigation officer told the court during hearing of the case interim bails are running since two months but the accused have not joined investigation so far. Wrong statements are being given in the court that investigation officer has not met them.

The investigation officer stated before the court the arrest of the accused is wanted.

Burhan Muazzam Malik counsel for the accused took the plea the investigation officer has already declared the accused guilty.

The court while ordering the accused to appear before it on next hearing extended their interim bail.
