ISLAMABAD, Oct 06 (Online): NAB has filed replies in Accountability Court (AC) Islamabad on acquittal pleas of the accused persons in assets reference against former finance minister Ishaq Dar.
The case came up for hearing before AC Islamabad led by Judge Muhammad Bashir Wednesday.
NAB prosecutor Afzal Qureshi appeared in the court after his recovery from corona virus.
Qazi Misbah counsel for Ishaq Dar told the court earlier we were not ready to accept corona virus;.
NAB filed the reply in the court on the acquittal pleas of the accused persons.
NAB prosecutor while opposing the acquittal pleas prayed the court to reject the acquittal pleas of Saeed Ahmad, Mansoor Raza and Naeem Mehmood.
Qazi Misbah requested the court to give time to cross question in terms of NAB reply.
NAB prosecutor told the court reference is in final stages, therefore, hearing be fixed soon.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case till October 20 for arguments on acquittal plea.
