ISLAMABAD, March 08 (Online): Special Joint Investigation Team (SJIT) constituted in suo motu notice of senior journalist Arshid Sharif assassination has submitted its 15-day sealed progress report in Supreme Court (SC).
As per sources it has been told in the report investigations into Arshid Sharif murder case are underway. The statements of Pakistani and foreign witnesses are being recorded as per court’s orders. Soon JIT will visit Kenya and London.
The hearing of the suo motu notice was adjourned by the SC for one month.
In its last order SC had ordered SJIT to file its progress report after every 15 days in the court.
