ISLAMABAD, Oct 20 (Online): The Supreme Court (SC) has sought reply from federal government on the demand by the parents of the martyred students seeking action against the responsible persons in suo motu case of army public school tragedy.
A two members bench of SC presided over by CJP took up for hearing suo motu notive in army public school tragedy Wednesday.
The parents of the martyred students while demanding action against the then army chief, DG ISI, interior minister, secretary interior and chief minister KP took the plea action has been taken against t5e terrorists involved in the incident. If the higher authorities on whose shoulder the responsibility of ensuring security lies and are sitting on big seats are caught then no one will shoe negligence in one’s duty.
The court directed Attorney General (AG) to appear in person on next hearing and inform the court about the stance of the state.
The hearing of the case was adjourned for indefinite period.
