ISLAMABAD, July 01 (Online): Army Chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa has called on the Prime Minister (PM) Shahbaz Sharif and the two made consultation on professional matters of army and over all security situation.
PM congratulated army chief on being awarded the highest Saudi honor.
One on one meeting between the PM and Army Chief took place in PM House. Security situation, internal matters and professional matters of armed forces were discussed in details during the meeting.
The army chief took the PM into confidence about his meetings with the leadership of Saudi Arabia and Qatar during his visit.
PM said armed forces are guarantors for defence of mother land . People are aware of the real faces of those involved in unleashing baseless propaganda and campaign against the army and its leadership. The nation has rejected such elements.
