Allied parties fully empower PM for decision about caretaker Prime Minister

ISLAMABAD, August 04 (Online): Allied parties have fully empowered Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif in connection with decision for care taker PM.
The meeting of heads of allied parties of ruling coalition for deciding about care taker PM concluded under the PM Shehbaz Sharif Friday.

The one point agenda about care taker PM came under consideration in the meeting that took place through video link.

The names of Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, former speaker Balochistan assembly Aslam Bhootani, former bureaucrat Fawad Hassan Fawad and technocrat Hafiz Sheikh came under consideration.

After a prolonged consultation, the heads of allied parties expressed full confidence on PM Shehbaz Sharif and gave full powers to him to decide about care taker PM.
They said that PM will nominate as care taker PM to whom he considers suitable. We will extend full support to his decision.

PM Shehbaz Sharif thanked the heads of all political parties for expressing confidence on him saying all the parties will have to go ahead together for the sake of national development and prosperity. Any one party cannot steer out the country from crisis. We have made a difficult journey and its positive results have come to fore. In future we together will take ahead the country with consultation.

On the other hand no consultation was made with opposition leader with reference to name of care taker PM.

When asked by a journalist from Raja Raza that has any consultation been made with him in connection with care taker PM, he said no consultation has been made with him so far. The consultation will be completed with regard to name of care taker PM till August 08. We will give good results.
