Al-Qadir Trust case: Indictment of Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi deferred

RAWALPINDI. Feb 10 (Online): Accountability Court(AC) has deferred the indictment of PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in Al-Qadir trust case till February 15. AC was to indict Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi Saturday in Al-Qadir trust case but Judge Muhammad Bashir of AC Islamabad recused from hearing Al-Qadir Trust case against Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi.

Due to this court staff instead of Judge reached Adiala jail to mark the attendance of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi.
it has been learnt that lawyers of Imran Khan reached Adiala Jail on this occasion.
However the indictment of PTI founder and his wife Bushra Bibi in Al-Qadir Trust case was adjourned till February 15. Therefore PTI founder and Bushra Bibi could not be indicted on Saturday.

The hearing of the case was also adjourned till February 15.

The court staff members told the respondents that Judge Muhammad Bashir of AC Islamabad is on leave.
Later the AC staff members returned from Adiala Jail.

On the other hand bail pleas of Imran Khan and Shah Mehmood Qureshi have been accepted in 12 cases of May 9 incident. These cases were registered in Attock and Rawalpindi.
Anti Terrorism Court Rawalpindi has ordered to release them.
