Islamabad Nov 18 (Online): An agreement of Server Hosting was done between Election Commission (ECP) and NADRA regarding preparation of results of General Elections 2024.
Results of General elections 2024 and preparation of results of General Elections are responsibility of Election Commission.
NADRA holds complete control. Election Commission (EC) does not have its own server to store data.
Election Commission will use NADRA’s server for General Elections.
According to sources, Election Commission will pay rent for server hosting of NADRA.
New Software will be generated by Election Management System for results of General Elections.
Sources told that Election Management System will be operated through digital and manual method.
EC has successfully piloted EMS in all 4 provinces. Election Commission has experienced from offices of regional Election Commissioners and district Election Commissioners in various districts.
Sources also told that Presiding officers will send their results of polling station to returning officers.
Returning officers will generate results by digital and manual ways and send to Election Commission. Every returning officer will be given 4 data entry operators.
Election Commission has given training to data entry operators. EMS system has been developed by keeping in view the modern requirements.
